You must be at least 18 years old to use HUEDAY. If you are under 18, do not use HUEDAY.
HUEDAY is built to be private by design. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Your entries, your states, shades, and notes, are stored only on your device.
HUEDAY does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. What you log never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.
When you tap share or export, HUEDAY creates an image or a line of text and hands it to your device's share sheet. You decide where it goes. HUEDAY doesn't send it anywhere on its own.
If you turn on Apple Health in Settings and give permission, HUEDAY reads your sleep and step counts to show them beside your mood. If you also turn on saving moods, HUEDAY writes each day's color to Health as a mood. Your words are never written. This health data is stored only on your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is never used for advertising. You can stop at any time in Settings, or change the permissions in the Health app.
Save a backup and Export create a file and hand it to your device's share sheet. You choose where the file goes. HUEDAY keeps no copy anywhere else.
If you turn on the daily reminder, HUEDAY schedules a local notification on your device. This uses no server and sends us nothing. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
HUEDAY uses no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no cross-app tracking of any kind.
HUEDAY has no account, no user ID, no device ID and no advertising ID. HUEDAY does not read your device's advertising identifier. It sends no identifier anywhere. HUEDAY's own code makes no network call. The only connection the app causes is Apple's StoreKit, for prices, purchases and restores, under Apple's privacy policy.
HUEDAY keeps your entries (date, color, shade, note, causes, and sleep and steps if you allow Apple Health or Motion & Fitness) and your settings on your device. It keeps them until you delete them. Delete All Entries in Settings clears the entries. Deleting the app removes everything HUEDAY stores on your device, including the data its widget shows.
Some data sits outside HUEDAY. Moods that HUEDAY writes to Apple Health stay in Health until you remove them there. Backup and export files stay where you save them. Your iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) may include HUEDAY's data under Apple's privacy policy. Apple keeps its own purchase records under Apple's privacy policy.
HUEDAY Pro is purchased through the App Store. Billing is handled by Apple. HUEDAY never sees your payment details.
Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app removes all of your entries with it. Moods that HueDay writes to Apple Health stay in the Health app after you delete HueDay. Remove them in the Health app.
